On 31 March 2008 Kobex announced that effective 31 March 2008 it has terminated its agreement with the US Energy Group in relation to the Lucky Jack molybdenum Project in Gunnison County, Colorado due to regulatory and legal uncertainties which currently exist at the Federal, State, County and Municipal levels which have become too great to justify the time and pre-development expenditures that are required to advance this property.

Kobex is well funded with over $20 million in the treasury and will immediately focus on the numerous mineral opportunities which are being brought to its attention.
